MCT – DESIGNER CHALLENGE 1,2,3

Hello my crafty peeps! How are you doing today?!? Hopefully you are doing well. With temperatures in the negative with lots of wind, what better way to spend the day in the craft room? I should be organizing, but…..

I checked out one of my favorite blogs this morning, My Creative Time, and found a super fun challenge there.

The challenge was as easy as 1-2-3. Use (1) Bow; (2) Patterned Papers; (3) Buttons. How easy is that?!?! Sounds easy, but can be a challenge! I had a great time doing this card.

Stampin’ Up Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Peach Parfait, Pear Pizzazz
Patterned Paper: Happier by My Minds Eye
Dies: My Creative Time (Lowercase Fun Dies, Tag Dies)
Buttons: Stampin’ Up (Retired — sorry!!)
Ribbon: American Crafts

Layers
Card: 5 1/2 X 4 1/4 (Portrait Style)
Layer #1: 5 3/8 X 4 1/8 (Peach Parfait)
Layer #2: 5 1/4 X 4 (Patterned Paper)

Inside Layers
Layer #1: 5 3/8 X 4 1/8 (Blushing Bride)
Layer #2: 4 X 1 5/8 (Pear Pizzazz)
Layer #2: 3 7/8 X 1 1/2 (Patterned Paper)

As with all of my crafts I make, I have fun while I am making them. Otherwise, why would we do this hobby?!? I had a lot of fun with this project. I even layered the tag die and trimmed around it freehand, which I always have issues with. I couldn’t cut a straight line or write in one if my life depended on it. Add to that it is super cold here, shaking hands. I was pretty impressed!!

I think I’m addicted to challenges!!! I don’t want help with it, just admitting my problem!!

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day 🙂
