JAS DT – CHALLENGE 43 – SEW & STITCH
Welcome back!! It is so great to finally be back. I have felt lost these past couple weeks, but I am feeling so much better. I ended up having a sinus infection — NO FUN!!!
So, today I am here to share with you the project I did for the Just A Scrappin’ Design Team Challenge.
Challenge: Sew & Stitch- Use sewing on your card, LO or project. Also add eyelets
Supplies
My Creative Time Supplies
Tag Dies
Vintage Stitched Label Dies
Vintage Sentiments Stamp Set
Chunky Jar Accessories (Butterfly Die)
Hemp: Hemptique Hemp Cord
Patterned Paper: Happier by My Minds Eye
As you can see on my project, I did not use any eyelets. I didn’t have any and didn’t have a chance to get out and get some. I used to have a huge bucket with them and I never used them. So, I passed them onto someone else. I never really got into eyelets. I hate that you can see through the hole in the middle to the inside to your project.
For my sewing I just the ribbon a little and put a stitch through the middle. I thought it came out sweet. I will definitely pull out my sewing machine more often.
I really love how this came out. I’m not sure if I would use it to attach to a baby gift, or it could even be used to layer onto a scrapbook page. Either way it will come in handy since I don’t have a lot of projects/cards made for baby gift giving.
Starting Monday, March 11, I will have a giveaway for a one week period. It is to celebrate my new blog, which I am so super happy with the outcome of the design.
Make sure to head on over to Just A Scrappin’ to check out the creations the other design team members have created!
Hope you all are well.
