Cricut Make It Now – Big Bird Back To School Scrapbook Page

Hey guys! Today I have a scrapbook page for you! I know, shocking 🙂 My son is 19 years old and I have very few, less than 5 pages scrapped of him. So, when I saw this in the CMIN section I thought this is what I need to make.

I had a lot of fun making this page. This project is listed as moderate. Time is 30 – 60 minutes. This estimate was probably close. I think I went over by a little. I am a perfectionist and always take my time working on projects. When I craft, I don’t really look at a clock since that is my time to unwind.

This project could be done by a beginner. I would recommend if you are a beginner or don’t have a lot of experience in layering to keep your pieces on the mat until you are putting them on the base (black) layer. I would print your black first and go from there. Another tip, and I actually had to do this when putting the item together. If you can’t see where something goes, hit customize. This will take you to the design section. I did this and then dragged the size to quite large. That way you can see the little pieces better and gives you a little road map.

Supplies
Cricut Explore
Cricut Design Space
Patterned Paper – Me and My Big Ideas — Off To School

Perler Bead Enamel Dots
K&Company — Wild Saffron Adhesive Chipboard
Adhesive — Thin 3D Foam Squares, ATG, Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive, Tombow Permanent Adhesive, Mini Glue Dots
Washi Tape — Maker unknown

Tools recommended — sharp scissors, tweezer, spatula, scraper, weeder (dental pick)

If you do not have these cartridges, it will charge you per cut you make from these cartridges. I would advise picking up these cartridges. I really love the fonts and extra cuts on these cartridges. Sometimes, cartridges are not so much about the theme, but about the alphabets and companion cuts you get.

My next project from Cricut Make It Now will be a card. I look forward to sharing with you.

If you decide to make any of these projects, I would love to see your take in the comments below!!

Have a great day and as always, happy crafting!!
