Fun-Day Friday Challenge #83 – Florals & Butterflies

Here’s what I created for this challenge
Card Size: 4 1/2 X 4 1/4
First, I would like to apologize for not filming a video this week. I usually like to film my card videos, but I had an unexpected health issue arise. For my card, I left it pretty simple. I wanted to be able to use it for lots of occasions, hence why I chose the sentiment I did. I also want to share with you that I tied this bow all by myself!!! It’s funny when there is no video camera on you, there is not so much fiddling needed when making a bow. I did put tape on each side of the ribbon on the back of the card to make sure it was really grounded. I simply folded the ribbon in half and then put the card stock in. I then followed the steps I listed above. This is also another card made completely without electronics. It was made with nothing but my muscle and my Cuttlebug. I will admit that I overfilled my “sandwich” and cracked my C Plate. I am going to keep using it, got to save money! Besides, I don’t usually use any really large thin metal dies.
I was pretty happy with how my coloring came out. I’m a little OCD as you know in my crafting, so I am a harsh critic on myself. I am enjoying the coloring more. It was easier this week since I used the Spectrum Noir Color Chart. You simply go through and color each marker in a hexagon that is labeled for that marker. It was much easier to pick out colors that I liked together. You can find the chart here.
