Fun-Day Friday Challenge #100 – Anything Goes
Hey guys! This is a super exciting week here at Jo’s Scrap Shack!! Not only is time for a Fun-Day Friday Challenge, but is the 100th challenge!!!
We have two sponsors this week, Bugaboo Stamps and Little Blue Button Stamps (LBBS). I will be working with a Bugaboo image this week. Check out other DT members to see projects from both sponsors.
This weeks challenge is to create a card, layout or project. ANYTHING GOES!!!

I usually do a card for my projects and I wanted to change it up a bit this week. My aunt Maryann and I are very close. She is the one I find all my thrifty goodies with. Her birthday was on July 31st and I decided to make her something. She doesn’t like when people give her gifts because she isn’t able to give gifts. Most of us know what it’s like to live on a small budget. Anyway, this year I decided I would make a couple things. I made her some Devils Food cupcakes with light frosting. She is one odd duck and doesn’t LOVE frosting!?!? Everyone in my family loves frosting. We see cake only as a vehicle for the frosting 🙂 I made the frosting from scratch, it is so much better then he frosting you get at the grocery store.
The other item I gave her, you may have guessed is what I made!! When we are thrifting, she picks up a lot of books. I decided to make her this bookmark. She absolutely loves elephants, so I turned to Bugaboo for an adorable elephant image. If I had to do it again, I would have changed the placement of the elephant so the whole for the tag didn’t land in the balloon. The only thing that worried her was the elephant trunk being down. Apparently, that is bad luck. I told her if a book attacks her I will happily take the book mark back 🙂 Luckily, the image I have picked out for their anniversary card (49 years this year) has the elephant trunks up on both of them!
