Christmas Chaos – Day #5 Pick A Treat & Make It Funny
Welcome back!! Today I want to share with you the Christmas Chaos challenge for Day #5. This challenge was really quite neat. You pick a funny project based on a list of recipes for holiday themed treats. I chose to go with Spiked Egg Nog. For this particular recipe you needed to use a border punch, glitter and polka dots. I’m a big fan of all of the items in the recipe and I love funny ๐ Not as much as punny, but funny will do!! LOL ๐ Let me share my project with you and then I will share a few points about my project.
When I saw the theme of the project I thought this image would be really funny. I started laying out the card. When I came to the border punch I put it at the top of the page. I always see Santa at the mall in some type of house. I decided to use the border punch as a “roof”. I put pop dots under the bottom of the punch to pop it up and adhered the top directly to the paper. I really like this effect and definitely plan on using it in the future! I love when you get surprises like that, when a plan just comes together ๐ I also used my new love, the glistening snow writer. I love that it is dimensional and has glitter. How does it get better than that?? I didn’t mean to give Gus coke bottle glasses, but I did. The crystal effects got away from me. There is no sentiment on the inside because I’m not sure who will get this card yet. Leaving my options open!
