Altenew Academy – Clean and Simple Boutique Cards
Hello and welcome back! Today I am here to share a project I created from the Altenew Clean and Simple Boutique Cards. This class emphasizes cards that are minimal, but with a POP! Let me apologize for a few of my pictures, I am learning to use a new camera and it is a process!
As I said in the previous post, I love the Antique Roses stamp set. Here it is again! I decided to get my “POP” by using creating one flower in color and the rest in grays. Remember when stamping your flowers to stamp off the sides of the paper. It gives more dimension. I started stamping my flowers on my card panel with the Rock Collection family. This family includes Pure Graphite, Industrial Diamond, Silverstone, and Limestone. These flowers were all stamped onto the card base with no dimension. Dimension is another way to add a little something to a simple, clean card. I stamped by one rose with the Tea Party family. This family includes Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Heartbeat, and Vineyard Berry. This color family is one of my absolute favorites to pair with my Antique Roses stamps. My sentiment is again heat embossed with Altenew Embossing Ink and the Antique Silver Crisp Embossing Powder. I used Playful Blooms for my sentiment. I am in love with the simple sentiments included in this stamp set. I popped up my Tea Party rose to add interest to my card.
