Altenew Academy – Color Your Day
Hello and welcome! Thank you for sharing your time with me today. I am excited to share a couple of projects with you. I couldn’t decide which card I liked best, so decided to share both with you.
I’m not sure about you, but I love to put on a tv show and color. I just zone out and focus on my project in front of me. It’s a great way to disconnect and relax in this day of being overwhelmed.
I pulled out some of my favorites again for this class. I used the Sweet Nothings stamp set for stamping all the flowers, the leaves, and sentiment. The top card I used the Simply Friend die to cut out of some black cardstock.
The flowers on the top card were colored with Red Sunset for the flowers and Tropical Forest for the leaves. The bottom card I used Sea Shore for the flowers. The sentiment on the bottom card was stamped with Altenew Obsidian Black ink.
The final touch was to splatter the Sea Shore card with Mountain Mist ink spray. I love the delicate touch these sprays add to your project.
