Hello everyone! Thanks so much for joining me on this glorious hop! I appreciate you hanging in till the end with me! You should have arrived from Colleen Balija’s blog. If not, head back to a Altenew to get back on track. Jaycee will be sharing an amazing project with this kit.

As you could tell with this release I was in a blending mood! I have desperately needed bookmarks lately with all of my reading requirements. What better than a gorgeous floral bookmark? I started with my favorite Moonrock card stock, die-cut with the Talk Tale bookmark die. I then used Limestone ink to lightly stamp the images in order to stencil the color. I kept turning my stamps to fill all the space. I chose Martian Terrain and Rock Collection to complete my blending with my trusty detail blending brushes from Altenew. My yellow combination is my favorite Buttercream, Mango Smoothie, and Pumpkin Pie. I stamped a sentiment from the set and to finish off, I added a pretty shade of orange ribbon to POP!

My next project features the amazing 3D embossing folder. I started with Moonrock card stock and used my detail blending brushes to freehand color the image. I did not use any stencils or masking for this project. I used Martian Terrain, Northern Shore, and Natures Wonders. This project did take some time, but it was a work of heart – this is so soothing to me. I use the blending brushes like a paint brush to add depth and dimension to my florals.

Since I began with Moonrock card stock I added a strip of Herringbone 3D embossing folder I had from another project that was sprayed with Antique Silver Metallic ink spray. I stamped a sentiment from the set to complete my card.

For my final card, I created a card with Altenew Artist Markers. I heat embossed the image with Antique Gold powder and embossing ink onto vellum. I colored the image with Coffee Break, Sea Shore, and Mango Smoothie. I added adhesive onto the back of the entire vellum panel and layered it onto Spicy Yogurt card stock. I layered the whole panel onto an A2 size panel of Gold Foil card stock. To finish the card I stamped a sentiment in Mahogany Bark ink and die-cut with Featured Sentiments dies. I added the die-cut with foam tape.
