Altenew June 2022 Today is the Day Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Hello everyone and welcome to the newest release. I am stoked you are here to share a bit of crafty time with me. If you are on the hop, make sure you started at the Altenew Card Blog. You should have arrived from the blog of Amy Hill.

Full Release

There are multiple sets from this release that I made multiple cards with. I could not put them down! For this card, I used Ethereal Roses for the gorgeous florals and the sentiment is from Climbing Leaves. While it is not apparent since I used so many florals, I did use the Climbing Leaves stamped with Limestone. I wanted to create a wreath of roses, so I cut a circle from the card panel. I used the card panel for the second card, coming up!

Rose colors: Lapis Lazuli with the addition of Blueberry, Pocketful of Sunshine with the addition of Lemon Ice

Leaves: Pistachio with Green Fields

The only new addition on the second card is a parchment card base and the sentiment from Bold Sentiments. This will definitely not be leaving my desk! One of my new go-to stamp sets.

This project used another panel with Climbing Leaves stamped with Silver Stone ink and two sentiments from Bold Sentiments. As you can see by these projects — I just LOVE this release! Altenew released Bold Sentiments as an app-only release earlier than today. I created two projects for that special release.

This card was made during a live on Facebook and YouTube. I had some leftover watercolor that I soaked up with an A2 watercolor panel. I added three sentiments from Bold Sentiments and voila, a card! The next card was made during the same live.

This project used the Florescence embossing folder and vellum with double-sided adhesive. After embossing I adhered the panel to a piece of Rouge cardstock. I popped on a sentiment from Bold Sentiments and voila again! Cards can be super quick and beautiful!

My final card for the release used a different stamp set, lol! I used the beautiful Sentimental Florals. I colored the image with Altenew Artist Markers (Sugarplums, Tea Party, Pocketful of Sunshine, and Lapis Lazuli). When I die-cut the image I stamped a sentiment onto the center of the panel and put the panel back in with satin masking tape to hold it. I wanted to be able to pop up the entire die-cut off the A2 panel. The panel was embossed with the Garden Harmony 3D embossing folder. I really loved the texture and interest added to the project.
