Altenew August 2022 Marvelous Monthly Series Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Hello everyone, and thank you so much for joining me today! I am so excited to share my projects with you! This hop began at the Altenew Card Blog, and you should have arrived from the blog of Teresa Litchfield.

This month you will notice the artist markers jumped into my hands! I created two projects with the new Build-A-Garden: Daffodil Delight. Additionally, I used the deckle die from Mix and Match Frames and my favorite Organic Linen 3D embossing folder. Artist marker colors used: Pocketful of Sunshine, Warm & Cozy, Rock Collection, and Glacier Caves.

This Craft-A-Flower is gorgeous! I used my latest obsession, Altenew Blends 6×6 paper pack in Rose Petal and Warm and Cozy, to create my floral and Tropical Forest for the leaves. My sentiment came from the Well-Read stamp set from the latest release.

I pulled in the Altenew Blends paper again for the background for my floral from the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Magnolia & Blooms. I colored the image with Tea Party, Lapis Lazuli, Green Meadows, and Pocketful of Sunshine. I die-cut the image and adhered it with foam tape. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink and heat set it with Pure White embossing powder.

This card made me happy! I stamped the new Mini Delight Like a Star with the Rainbow Prism ink set. I used metallic thread to attach to the Gold Foil letters, which were die-cut with Mighty Alphabet. To finish the sentiment, I used Happy Birthday Builder for the “birthday.” To keep the super fun vibe, I added the Dotty Circles embossing folder as my background.

My final project, and the final project of the hop, used the Paint-A-Flower: Wood Anemone. I stamped the image in opposing corners before coloring with my artist markers. I used Tropical Forest and Lapis Lazuli as my colors. Pocketful of Sunshine was used to add details to the Wood Anemone. I stamped the sentiment with embossing ink and heat set with Pure White embossing powder onto a piece of Dark Gray card stock. I die-cut the image with Halftone Circle dies. I adhered the sentiment in the lower left-hand corner with foam tape.
