Altenew Craft-A-Flower: Peruvian Lily Layering Die Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello everyone and welcome! It’s such an amazing day — we are adding CAF: Peruvian Lily to our wonderful Altenew family.

Before we get to all the crafty goodness, let’s make sure you are in the right place for the hop. You should have arrived from the amazing Jaycee Gasper’s blog. If you haven’t, head on over to the Altenew Card Blog to begin at the beginning 😁

I created two cards using the same color florals. The Peruvian Lilies were created using Sea Shore Gradient card stock, Buttercream, Caramel Toffee (Summer Afternoon), and Navy. The leaves were created using Pale Gray, Real Gray and Dark Gray. I really love pairing Sea Shore with either gray or now, the new Coffee Break gradient card stock.

My card panel is Spicy Yogurt card stock (A2) with Stacked Diamonds die layered on top. I actually remembered to use my amazing adhesive sheets with my project this time. It really saves so much time! I need to put a sticky note on my die-cutting machines to remind me, lol 😆

I placed two florals in opposing corners adding two leaves to each floral. The leaves were adhered flat to the card panel, and the florals were added with foam tape. I die-cut “hugs” four times from 120# card stock to layer underneath the Gold Foil card stock. “Hugs” comes from the script words die set – one of my absolute favorite sets.

I just love the finished card. It looks like the Peruvian Lilies are hugging the sentiment.

This panel was so much fun to create! I used the same card stocks listed above to create my floral. I did add leaves when I was planning my card, but ultimately I really liked it without for this project.

My card panel (A2) was splattered with ink sprays: Mountain Mist, Emerald, and Antique Silver. I stamped one of the gorgeous sentiments from Simply Spring with Obsidian pigment ink onto my panel.

While this is such a simple card, I love the brightness!
