For my first card I used Woodless Watercolor pencils to paint my image. I love using these with a water brush. I feel that I have more control over my coloring with this method. I started by white heat embossing my image onto A2 precut watercolor card stock. I then proceeded to color my image with the watercolor pencils below. When I was finished with the coloring, I heat embossed one of the sentiments from the set with Antique Gold embossing powder.

Since I had the Antique Gold embossing powder out I was inspired to emboss the entire image. I love the black, white and gold combination of color. Once the image was heat set, I splattered with Jet Black, Antique Gold, and Pure White ink sprays. Once the sprays were dry, I stamped my sentiment in Obsidian pigment ink and heat set with clear embossing powder. I love, love, love this sentiment — it is so true!

Out of my three cards, this is my favorite! I love the color I was able to achieve. I started by embossing a panel (3.75 x 5.50) with pure white embossing powder. I chose four inks to create a blend on the panel. I used: Sunkissed, Frosty Pink, Orange Cream, and Coral Berry. I don’t recall ever blending in this “order” before, but I definitely will do it again in the future. I added Gold Glitter tape to either side of an A2 (4.25 x 5.50) panel. Foam tape was added to the back of the ink blended panel and adhered to the card base.

I debated about adding a sentiment and decided not to. I love this as a simple notecard for any occasion. In the future, I could always add a sentiment for whatever occasion I need the card for.
