Altenew – Happy Birthday
Hello everyone and thank you for joining me today. I’m excited to share a different type of card with you. This card is really fun if you enjoy puzzles.
I started by cutting the Tangled Loops Cover Die to cut two pieces of Neenah Solar White Classic Crest #110 card stock. I cut an additional one from Gold Foil card stock. I layered the two white pieces together and applied to my card front. Then came the fun part, I inlaid the gold pieces. I decided to make the loops gold and the rest white. The great part is I still have the other pieces for another card. A great way to extend your supplies!
I used a flower from the extras I stamped using Just For You stamp set. These gorgeous flowers were stamped with the Sugarplum family of inks.
I heat embossed my sentiment from Stained Glass Window. There are some great sentiments in this set. I used embossing ink to stamp the sentiment and then applied Antique Gold embossing powder. I thought the white card stock blended into the card front to much, so I pulled out some vellum. Both of the layers were cut with the Featured Sentiments dies. I love that vellum adds a different texture to the card.
