I am in absolute love with this entire kit. It was very difficult to choose a technique and which products to use. I decided to really showcase the 3D embossing folder, Blooming Through the Seasons. I love the size and layout of this floral. It allows the sentiments from the stamp set or die set to be tucked into the floral. I love that look โค๏ธ
I started with a piece of Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80# card stock cut to 6×6. Using Antique Silver metallic ink spray I sprayed the embossing folder. I put my card stock in place and embossed with my die-cutting machine. When I opened the folder – MAGIC! I am in absolute love with the rustic look this gave me. Changing up the ink spray or ink you choose to use can give you a variety of different looks.
My sentiment is one that I have relied on A LOT this past couple of years, especially this last year. I lost my husband to cancer after a harrowing two year fight. This sentiment holds a very special place in my heart. Obsidian pigment ink was used to give me a clear crisp black sentiment.
The panel was trimmed down to the lines left by the embossing folder. The panel was mounted onto Dark Gray card stock. I love how it really helps the panel stand out even more.

Such a great kit.
I’m so deeply sorry to hear about your husband.
I too, love that saying. I believe it’s from A.A.Milne’s Winnie the Pooh books.
And yes, your card is stunning!
How fitting that that sentiment has such a special meaning for you. So bittersweet. My sympathies to you.
WOW, what a cool look. This is so different and pretty. The designers are really trying new things, and I LOVE IT

Thatโs beautiful. Iโm glad I keep going on the blog hop and saw it.
This is a nice change up to this set as seen in other layouts. Very nice.
What a unique design and colors!
Nice technique share for the folder.
Your card is very inspiring and beautiful. Iโve had a similar type of year losing a son in law to a drunk driver. Another favorite saying for me is โyou donโt know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you haveโ. My daughter had it tattooed on her shoulder after he passed. Thank you for sharing.
My sincerest condolences. Pretty card. Warm hugs from San Antonio, Texas. ๐๐๐
What a unique way of using the embossed card! I think that it would also make a great background for a mixed media project!
I like the distressed look of the card- cool!
Great card! I’m loving using embossing folders. I love the way you ink sprayed the embossing folder. Such a simple technique but outstandingly beautiful! I’m so sorry for your loss!

Beautiful, unique card. I never thought of using ink spray on an embossing folder — gotta try that!
I think the ink color choice is beautiful. You can see all the detail and texture in the embossed flowers, but it allows the focus to be drawn to the sentiment. It is a favorite of mine, also. Just stunning.
Just love the antiqued look of your card!
Beautiful card colors and designs
What a beautiful card
Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing your loss. My heart and my admiration go out to you. Your card is very special and communicates both softness and strength! Beautiful!
A beautiful card and beautiful saying. I’m so sorry for your loss.

That is really neat; it looks like weathered stone.

Very creative and unique way to use the embossing folder here, and I agree, that sentiment is so heartfelt for so many occasions. And I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband…..
Really cool card
The textured grungy look for a card is very cool. Thank you for this example of greys and flowers ๐
Beautiful design.
Beautiful design and sentiment!
This is such a cool looking card, it’s like stone!!!! I’m so sorry for the loss of your husband, what a tragedy ๐ May he rest in peace.
Clever idea to use ink spray to color an embossing folder. Sorry to hear about your husband. That is a powerful sentiment. I think many people learned that about themselves over the past year.
Fabulous–I like the rustic look.
