Just A Couple “Plane” Cards…..
Hello everyone! I am back today and actually have a couple of projects to share with you. I couldn’t resist going a little “punny” as you know I LOVE to!! I did not plan to use only planes today. I had everything cut, looked down and noticed I went plane crazy!!
My first card I used My Creative Time’s “Thanks for The Lift” stamp set. I stamped the “love you” sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. The background paper is Baja Breeze from Stampin’ Up. The white cardstock is Powdered Sugar from The Stamps of Life. I used my Misti to make sure I got a beautiful stamped image. The airplane was colored in with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I used D3 for the plane and TB1 for the windows. I didn’t do any shading today, just kept it “plane” and simple, lol! Sorry, couldn’t resist!! I did take my clear Spectrum Sparkle Pen to the windows on the plane. I held back and stopped there!!
I used the Stitched Cartoon Cloud Dies, also from My Creative Time. In order to get more out of my dies, I simply inverted the cloud in the top. The great thing about clouds is there really is no form to them. You can kind of tweak them how you need them. The inside I will simply mat a piece of white cardstock to jot my note to my dad.
The second card I made today was made from two sets by My Creative Time. I used the “Fun Paper Airplane Die” and “Plane and Simple…..”stamp set. The image/sentiment were stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink. The “loop” was not long enough, so I masked off the image and stamped a few additional lines to cover my card. I used my Misti to make sure I got the perfect placement.
