American Crafts | Memento | My Pink Stamper | Recollections | Silhouette Cameo | Silhouette Online Store | Spectrum Noir | Valentine
Hey guys! I have another Valentine’s Day card to share with you. The one that we are making today is for my sister-in-law, Cassie. I’m sure those of you that have followed my blog/videos knew that as soon as you saw the owl!!!
I’m so happy with how this came out! First, I chose my papers from American Crafts and made my card base out of Recollections cardstock. I started with the file from Silhouette Design Store by Lori Whitlock, A2 Owl Easel Card is Design #116472. I used most everything in the file. I did not use the sentiment that was included. I tried writing the sentiment by using my pen adapter from Chomas Creations, but did not like how it turned out. I turned to I *Heart* Punnylicious by My Pink Stamper. It is actually the same sentiment. Since the sentiment was a little long for my die cut, I simply layered it instead of one straight line. I used Memento Tuxedo Black Ink to stamp the sentiment. I finished by using some Spectrum Noir Sparkle on the heart and bow.
I know my sister-in-law will just love her new owl card!! I got her an owl pen to go with her card. I wish I would have coordinated colors to make them a truly matching set, but I didn’t think of it in time.
Until next time, happy crafting!!
