Here is what I made

This week was absolutely a challenge for me! I love seeing other peoples projects that are distressed and have torn edges, but can’t really do it myself. Every time I try it just looks like torn paper to me and my OCD takes over. So, I ended up getting the Tim Holtz distress tool to give it a torn up look and then tore across the bottom of the tag. I finished by inking it all up with Stampin’ Up Early Espresso ink. I thought that was fitting since I was using a coffee theme 🙂

When I went to choose a card I thought I would pick one that had a “faux” tearing look. I went with the jagged edge card because it reminded me of a tearing ruler I saw.

I cannot get over how much I am in love with these fun lunch bags. See, fun is built right in the name! There are so many possibilities with these. Once I started thinking of ideas, I just couldn’t stop.I had made one with paper by K&CO, but that one kept tearing on me. I didn’t think of it as heavy paper, but it must be too heavy. Paper from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby) was the paper that worked fabulous for me.

The coffee print that you see on the vanilla cardstock is actually from a couple My Creative Time stamp sets. My Misti definitely helped this week with that. My Early Espresso ink pad was pretty dry and the Misti allowed me to keep stamping until it looked right.
