Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
Hope you are having a great holiday with family and friends. Now that your bellies are stuffed with turkey, lean back and check out what the Just A Scrappin’ Design Team has been up to. We know your full, but you can never have too much inspiration, right!?!?
This weeks challenge: Let’s get those Turkeys gobbling. Make a Thanksgiving card, layout or 3D project. Use any color but lets add some lace.
Size: A2
This week the challenge was to use lace, but I didn’t have any. With my truck being in the garage three times this month, I really didn’t have the funds to get my hands on any either. I decided this Dotted Scallop punch by EK Success had a “lacey” look to it.
Supplies
Create A Critter 2 Cricut Cartridge
Gypsy by Cricut
Stampin’ Up Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
Patterned Paper: Recollections Autumn Harvest
Sentiment: Thankful for You (CardzTV) Ink: Rich Cocoa (Memento Ink)
Other: Action Wobble (AWI); Brads (Stampin’ Up); Dotted Scallop Punch (EK Success); Ribbon (Michael’s)
Measurements
On all three layers of the card, I used the Dotted Scallop punch.
Base: 4 1/4 X 5 1/2
Layer: 4 1/8 X 5 3/8
2nd Layer: 4 1/8 X 2
Turkey (P 62)
All cut @ 3.25 height
(Turkey) 3.49 w
(Turkey-s) 2.77w
(Layer) 1.88w
(Layer-s) 1.91w
I deleted all but the cut lines with my Gypsy. Nothing drives me more crazy than seeing the pre-cut lines behind my cuts!
I really wish you could see the turkey wobbling on his action wobble, it really hits the phrase home 🙂
